Hello

I'm the guy you can blame for StepTrakLite's existence and current feature set. I set up this Ning community so that we could have a place to talk about it. STL is a new product and a new direction for AWare, but it is also the culmination of many years of research and development.

We have a lot of exciting enhancements and upgrades in progress, both for STL and for additional products that we will be announcing soon. I hope you will check back often for updates and to give us feedback on how we are doing.

1st week of Summer (or Winter) walking challenge

Hey, STL users.

The 21st of June is the solstice, which means the beginning of Summer for us here in the Northern hemisphere. (For our Aussie friends and others south of the equator, it's the beginning of Winter.) I thought it would be a good time to do a week-long Twitter-based STL walking challenge. Use STL to track and tweet your steps for a week, and I'll tally them up. The person with the most steps for the seven day period wins.

Here are the rules:

STL is back — do the happy dance!

After a week of going round and round with Apple tech support, StepTrakLite is back in the App Store. No explanation of what was wrong, just a brief note saying they fixed it.

Hah! I'm thrilled. This was extended and incredibly frustrating, but at least its fixed.

STL _still_ yanked

Well, it's been over a week now. I've been going around and around with Apple support folks on a daily basis, and STL is still not back in the App Store. This has nothing to do with censorship, iPhone OS 3.0, or anything else that would make good sense. The itunesconnect portal says I need to execute an agreement, but the apple developer portal says I already have and won't give me the opportunity to do it again. And nobody seems to know what to do about this.

Needles to say this is incredibly… Continue

STL yanked (temporarily)

Hey, STL users.

Just to let you know -- we found out today that Apple has yanked STL due to some kind of bureaucratic screwup relating to the customer agreement. (They say we need to accept the latest version, but when I try to it tells me we already have.) This came to my attention this morning and I'm still working on getting it sorted out. More soon, hopefully.

Hello, kbsimmy. To reset the step counter and duration of exercise in StepTrakLite, press the "Reset" button in the upper-right hand of the "Count" tab. Does that answer the question?

Hello, Karen. This is mostly a forum to talk about StepTrakLite -- we (AWare Technologies) don't have any connection to the other MapMyFitness iPhone apps. Of course, other community members might be using those apps and could help you, but I exp...

I'm unable to view my marathon in 30 days progress via the mapmywalk or mapmyrun apps. The progress indicator is always empty. Online I'm able to see it without a problem. What's wrong?
