The StepTrakLite Support Community

Hey, STL users.

The 21st of June is the solstice, which means the beginning of Summer for us here in the Northern hemisphere. (For our Aussie friends and others south of the equator, it's the beginning of Winter.) I thought it would be a good time to do a week-long Twitter-based STL walking challenge. Use STL to track and tweet your steps for a week, and I'll tally them up. The person with the most steps for the seven day period wins.

Here are the rules:
  • Have a public Twitter timeline and follow @StepTrakLite on Twitter
  • Use STL to track your steps between June 21, 00:00 UCT and June 27, 23:59 UCT
  • Post your steps to Twitter from StepTrakLite as "Steps since" or "Steps in the last"
I'll announce the winners on Twitter and the STL community on Monday, June 29th.

For those who participated in a previous walking challenge please note the following rule change: I'm not going to use local time zones. There is no way for me to know where you really are, and you might start the challenge in one time zone and end it in another. We will run this from midnight to midnight UCT, also known as Universal Coordinated Time, +0:00, GMT, or Zulu time. It's also London time.

If you aren't sure how to convert, you can use your iPhone's World Clock to keep track of London Time for the purposes of this challenge. It will only matter on June 20th/21st and on June 27th/28th.

Hey, Folks. Just a reminder -- if you want to be part of the challenge, make sure you follow @StepTrakLite on Twitter so that I know you are playing. You can follow us any time up to the midnight on the 27th, but sooner is better, especially if you tweet a lot.
